About Me
Alli Woodard.
Political Science major.

I was introduced to the arts when I began dance lessons at 3-years-old. From then on, it was theatrical productions, vocal training and piano lessons. I was never well acquainted with the visual arts until my senior year in high school, when I took two photography classes, a video production class, and a basic art class. When I got to college, I ended up pursuing performing arts, but I began taking photos and editing them on my own time. I gradually started to pursue digital art as a hobby. This year, I was lucky enough to be able to fit video art in my schedule.

This class allowed me to enhance my video production skills, as well as give me the opportunity to be creative. As I begin my career in politics, it is nice to have something like this to fall back on. Although the videos that I created in this class do not really include "politics," they do employ my creative side. I believe that this creative side will give me competitive advantage as I continue onto graduate school in Washington, D.C., in the field of political communication.
