Video Art
Final Video
"Tuesday"
For my final video, I decided to use Final Cut pro rather than iMovie. Although I found it to be a lot more complicated, it allowed me to add a filter to the color of my video. I incorporated both still images and moving video. I created the audio using my own voice, my ukulele and garage band. It had three tracks; the instrumental (my ukulele), the melody (my voice), and the harmony (also my voice). I wanted to put both my video art skills that I gained from this class, with prior skills that I have learned from years of vocal training. I decided to cover the song "Someone You'd Admire" by Fleet Foxes, because I believe that it truly emulates the feel of video, which is just a happy, calming day–– a theme that I think really represents my experience in this class.
